Today is a very special day for me. I celebrate 10 years of qualifying as a reflexologist with the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR) and establishing my business in Leicestershire.
Since qualifying I am proud to have worked with so many incredible clients, both from my home when I first began my business, and more recently from The Health Workshop in Ashby.
In addition to my work with my reflexology clients, I launched the Love Reflexology Community and Directory for Practitioners in 2017 and now work as a mentor to help reflexologists around the world grow and develop their businesses.
When training as a reflexologist my aim was to support and help people and to make a positive difference to their lives. Reflexology helped me tremendously after the death of my brother in 2006 and I wanted to go on and help people, just as my reflexologist had helped me.
I am amazed every day how powerful this treatment is, and feel honoured to have supported my clients.
I truly love my work helping my reflexology clients and other reflexologists, and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been part of this incredible 10 years.
Without my clients (both reflexology and business mentor), the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), my reflexology tutor Allison Walker, the Love Reflexology Community, and my family – who always believed in me – I wouldn’t be able to do the work I love.
Thank you everyone for making my dream come true, and I look forward to seeing many of you in the treatment room soon.
