Encourage Rest 😴 Encourage a great night’s Encourage Rest 😴 Encourage a great night’s sleep to help you feel refreshed for the new day by putting down your phone/devices at least one hour before you go to bed. Your mind needs time to process the events of the day and everything it has seen/heard online, on the TV or the radio - and let’s face it we are bombarded with information all day, so we really don’t need more before bedtime 🥱 How many times have you seen something on your phone just before you get into bed or whilst you are in bed that has played on your mind as you try to relax? I know I’ve done this and then find I need more time to switch off, which then eats into the time I should have been sleeping. Switching off your phone and having quality relaxation time will give your mind space to process the day, will aid relaxation and support a restful night. And as we know better quality sleep is crucial for our health and well-being. Do you switch off your phone before bedtime or are you guilty of scrolling even when you get into bed?

The reflexology group compared with the control group had lower than the average VAS pain and VAS and STAI anxiety at all assessment times. Reflexology is effective in reducing anxiety and pain." Book Recommendation on World Book Day 📕 The S Book Recommendation on World Book Day 📕 The Salt Path - @raynor.winn I discovered this book whilst watching @chefrickstein Cornwall and I am so pleased I did, I could not put it down! Just days after Raynor discovered her husband Moth was terminally ill, they lost their home and livelihood. With nothing to lose they decided to walk the 630-mile South West Coast Path from Somerset to Dorset, via Devon and Cornwall and discovered a new liberating existence. This true story is packed with hope, endurance and the regenerative power of nature. There is also an incredible ending.. which has made this one of my favourite books in a long time - you will have to read it to find out what happens 😉 A great read to be inspired and to lose yourself for a while.
