Lady with her arm over her face

This is your opportunity to indulge in some time that is just for you, leaving your body, mind and face feeling fabulous!

Enhance your skin and well-being with a soothing facial reflexology treatment.

I am delighted to share this beautiful treatment with you in the heart of Ashby-de-la-Zouch; to provide you with the space and time to relax, unwind and let the stresses of everyday life slip away.

What is Facial Reflexology?

Facial Reflexology has all the benefits and principles of traditional foot reflexology, but with the added benefit of giving you a rejuvenating effect on the skin.

It is a soothing treatment where gentle pressure is applied to the reflex points on the face to promote stress relief, a greater sense of well-being and a feeling of calm.

What Happens During a Facial Reflexology Treatment?

Ahead of the appointment you will complete an online consultation form, this allows me to check for any contra-indications and tailor the treatment for what you need.  You will also be asked to complete a data protection form which will be shared with you at your first appointment (more details below).

At the appointment, you will select a facial oil to suit your individual skincare requirements, be made comfortable on the relaxing couch, snuggled in the cosy blanket, and I will begin to cleanse the face and apply a pre-blended organic facial oil. Once the oil is applied, I will apply a gentle pressure on the different reflex points on your face, and use a range of lymphatic massage techniques. Many clients find the treatment deeply relaxing and achieve a meditative-like state (or even drift off to sleep).

The cleanser and oils used enhance the experience of the treatment, nourish the skin and have a soothing fragrance. I only use organic products for my treatments from Neal’s Yard Remedies, as I believe you deserve the very best!

These products also support my ethos of taking care of the world we live in, as they are kind to the planet.

If you would like to continue using the facial products at home following your treatment to support your skincare routine, please visit my Neal’s Yard Remedies shop. If you would like any recommendations, please contact me – I am happy to help.

Please note: If you have received Botox or Facial Fillers, a treatment cannot go ahead following the three weeks from receiving it. If you have undergone Face Lift surgery, a treatment cannot go ahead until three months after the operation, and six months if there have been any complications/infections. If you have any questions about this, please email me.

How Will I Feel Following My Treatment?

Facial Reflexology is a nurturing and deeply relaxing treatment. My clients leave the treatment room with a feeling of inner calm, an improved sense of well-being, as well as a glowing complexion.

At the end of the appointment I will provide you with some self-care advice and tips to continue the benefits of the treatment.

Training

I have undertaken training and qualified in the Advanced Bergman Zone Method of Facial Reflexology – this course is approved by the Association of Reflexologists. I was trained by award-winning Ziggie Bergman at the London School of Reflexology, Regent’s University. I am fully insured to deliver this treatment to my clients.

The Bergman Method was developed over 20 years ago and based on William Fitzgerald’s theory of Zone Therapy. This method also used Native American techniques and Asian Body mapping.
