Self-Care Sunday🤍 With Valentine's Day just ov Self-Care Sunday🤍

With Valentine's Day just over a week away why not use the month of love to show yourself some kindness with my self-care ideas.

Over the coming days I would love to hear if you try any of them.

If you are looking to make a swap with one of your toiletry products explore the range of natural products by Neal's Yard Remedies at the link in the bio, or send me a DM and I can share the link with you.

These products are made in the eco-factory in Dorset, are certified organic, ethical, do not contain parabens, synthetic fragrances or colours, and are not tested on animals (just willing humans).

Which idea will you try this month?
Mood Boosting Idea 💡 One of my favourite ways Mood Boosting Idea 💡

One of my favourite ways to end the working week is to treat myself to a small bunch of seasonal flowers. This little treat from me to me, is a great way to boost my mood and raise a smile.

Adding a splash of colour to my home especially during the darker winter months can make such a difference... and my little bunch of daffodils this week are definitely telling me spring is on the way, along with its lighter days and new life.

Do you treat yourself to flowers?

What would be your flowers of choice?
Hello February 🤍 Welcome to a new month full o Hello February 🤍

Welcome to a new month full of hope, new beginnings and brighter days.

As you start the new month acknowledge any stress or worry January may have brought, then let it go.

Use this affirmation over the next couple of days to support you.

Are you ready for the new month?

What are you looking forward to?
Only the best for you 🤍 During my facial refle Only the best for you 🤍

During my facial reflexology treatments in Ashby-de-la-Zouch I only use high quality organic facial oils from Neal’s Yard Remedies to nourish your complexion and to enhance the feeling of relaxation.

We select an oil together after discussing your skincare requirements…your treatment will be completely unique, tailored just for you.

January 🤍 So many reflexology clients, therapi January 🤍

So many reflexology clients, therapists and friends have shared with me that January is hard going and they feel like they are walking through treacle!

It can be a strange month after the fun of Christmas and New Year is over, as well as the dark nights and mornings, plus the cold 🥶

If January is feeling a bit tough, try to add some brighter moments by finding joy in the simple things.

This could be enjoying your favourite coffee in town or putting on warm socks before bedtime after you have warmed them on the radiator.

Finding joy in the simple things can really boost your mood when things feel tough.

How is your January going?
Slow 🤍 A number of my reflexology clients have Slow 🤍

A number of my reflexology clients have shared this week they are feeling low on energy and simply want to hibernate.

These feelings are common at this time of year as traditionally the winter would have been a period of rest, a slower pace and rejuvenation before spring arrived.

However, modern life goes against this seasonal rhythm with pressures to be busy even when our body is craving a slower pace.

So, to help try to add some slower moments to your day. Enjoy curling up at night with your favourite book and a blanket or even book a treatment to hit pause for an hour.

It’s also a great idea 💡 to take a Vitamin D supplement during the winter months to help. The NHS website shares information about the correct dose.

So, please don’t feel guilty for wanting to go slow…you are just doing what nature intended.

Self-Care for January 🤍 With the arrival of th Self-Care for January 🤍

With the arrival of the new year the online world is awash with self-care ideas, new year's resolution and goal setting suggestions, along with various awareness months - all of which can be overwhelming and make you feel a certain level of pressure, especially when you are trying your best to return to work and your normal routines.

During January one of the best self-care activities you can enjoy is to do the things which you love! This will be unique to you, but will be something which will make you feel relaxed and happy.

For me this will be cooking seasonal food and planning my garden for the warmer days, whereas you may feel your happiest when going for a run or chatting with a friend over coffee.

Remember not to add pressure to yourself this month - January can be a tricky one for many, so simply choose something which makes your soul shine!

What activity makes you feel great?

Happy New Year 🤍 Now that the new year is here Happy New Year 🤍

Now that the new year is here take time out to reflect on how far you have come, the challenges you have faced and survived, and the beautiful moments you have shared.

Give thanks to the special people in your life and the new people you may have welcomed to share it with you.

Breathe deeply into 2023 showing yourself love and kindness, and let go of the things that no longer serve you.

Make a promise to love yourself more and know that you can embrace whatever the new year brings.

Accept that you don’t need to make a list of resolutions or change, you are wonderful just as you are!

Let 2023 be the year you love yourself more 🤍

Happy New Year,
Kelly xxx
