We made it!

The end of January is officially here! Yes! I hear you say!

I know many of you have found this month really tough for a variety of reasons and have felt as though you have been walking through treacle for the past few weeks. I know I found the darker mornings challenging this year.

But you made it! You survived!

As January is coming to a close, now is the ideal opportunity to set aside some time for you to relax and unwind during February, and book your reflexology appointment.

Mood Boosting Idea 💡

One of my favourite ways to lift my spirits and brighten my home in January is to treat myself to a small bunch of seasonal flowers.

This treat from me to me, always lifts my spirits, adds a splash of colour to my home during the darker winter month’s, and reminds me that brighter days are on the way.

It’s a simple activity, but one that can make a positive difference to how we feel.

Encourage Rest 😴

Encourage a great night’s sleep to help you feel refreshed for the new day by putting down your phone/devices at least one hour before you go to bed.

Your mind needs time to process the events of the day and everything it has seen/heard online, on the TV or the radio - and let’s face it we are bombarded with information all day, so we really don’t need more information before bedtime 🥱

How many times have you seen something on your phone just before you get into bed or whilst you are in bed that has played on your mind as you try to relax?

I know I’ve done this and then find I need more time to switch off, which then eats into the time I should have been sleeping 😴

Taking time away from your phone and having quality relaxation time, may help you to process the day, aid relaxation and support a restful night.

And as we know better quality sleep is crucial for our health and well-being.

Self-Care for January 🤍

With the arrival of the new year the online world is awash with self-care ideas, new year's resolution and goal setting suggestions, along with various awareness months - all of which can be overwhelming and make you feel a certain level of pressure, especially when you are trying your best to return to work and your normal routines.

During January one of the best self-care activities you can enjoy is to do the things which you love! This will be unique to you, but will be something which will make you feel relaxed and happy.

For me this will be cooking seasonal food and planning my garden for the warmer days, whereas you may feel your happiest when going for a run or chatting with a friend over coffee.

Remember not to add pressure to yourself this month - January can be a tricky one for many, so simply choose something which makes your soul shine!

Happy New Year 🥳

I hope you have enjoyed a relaxing Christmas with your loved ones and you have had a positive start to the year.

Thank you to everyone who has emailed and messaged me over the past few days, I am in the process of responding and I will reply as soon as I can.

The reflexology treatment room in Ashby re-opens tomorrow and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone to provide the first soothing reflexology treatments of 2025.

My cloths are freshly ironed, and the fluffy towels and reflexology balms are ready for your moment of calm. ☺️

Merry Christmas and Thank You

I have now finished my final reflexology treatments of 2024 and the treatment room is closed until 6th January 2025.

Before I begin my Christmas break with the family, I would like to say a big thank you to all of my reflexology clients who have continued to choose me as their reflexologist and to everyone who has begun to work with me this year. It has been wonderful to provide reflexology treatments to you.

I would also like to thank the team at @thehealthworkshop, my professional association - @aorreflexology, the @love_reflexology community, and of course my fabulous business mentoring clients who chose to work with me this year, it has been a privilege to be part of your business journey.

And finally, thank you to my friends and family for your continued support and love.
