Goodbye May As the month comes to an end spend so Goodbye May

As the month comes to an end spend some time celebrating everything you have achieved, smile at the things which brought you joy, then acknowledge and let go of the things which made you feel stressed or worried.

You will then feel ready for the new month and all it brings.

What has made you smile in May? 👇🏻
Growth Working with my reflexology and business m Growth

Working with my reflexology and business mentor clients the topic of stepping outside of our comfort zone crops up regularly.

You may want and need to make lifestyle changes to support your well-being, or you may need to make changes and try new things within your business to achieve what you want.

I understand it can feel uncomfortable making these changes, it can feel daunting and at times scary but it’s the only way we can grow.

I understand that inside the comfort zone is definitely cosier 😂

I’ve personally stepped out of my comfort zone a great deal this year both personally and professionally, making both small and big changes. Even though it feels uncomfortable at times I know it’s how I will improve my well-being and achieve my professional goals.

What could you achieve for your well-being or your business if you stepped outside of your comfort zone?
Sunday 🤍 I’ve just had the loveliest few hou Sunday 🤍

I’ve just had the loveliest few hours exploring Leicester in the sunshine 🌞 and ending with a beautiful reflexology treatment from one of the students at Jubilee College.

It was wonderful to meet everyone and my treatment was incredible! 🙏🏻

I’m now feeling relaxed and ready for the new week.

Have you been able to enjoy the sunshine this weekend?

The results are back! If you’ve been following The results are back!

If you’ve been following my page you will have read my posts about stress, the impact it can have on our well-being, cortisol and how we can test our levels using the @cortigenixhealth test.

Being aware of your cortisol levels can help you to make lifestyle changes or seek further medical help if required.

In the interest of science, I’ve recently taken the test, so I could share the experience with you.

The test works by taking a sample of your hair and assessing your average cortisol level over the last 3 months,. This can be used to detect underlying adrenal problems and the effects of chronic stress.

On receiving my test kit I registered it online, followed the instructions to prepare my hair sample and sent my hair on its way.

The results came back quickly and could be accessed by logging into my account on the website.

I’m not going to try and say the levels were amazing, because they weren’t. The cortisol levels were very high. Not great for someone who works within the well-being sector you may be thinking!

But actually these results were not a surprise.

During the three-month period that my hair sample covered I’d experienced the following:

A recent Covid infection;
An ear infection;
A stressful health scare when I had a retinal tear and had to have urgent laser eye treatment, alongside juggling running my business and family life.

You’ve got this! Good luck to everyone sitting You’ve got this!

Good luck to everyone sitting GCSE and A-Level exams from tomorrow, remember you are amazing! ⭐️

If ever there are times you feel worried or stressed reach out to someone you trust, and know this time will soon pass.

Try to get a great night’s sleep to support you and use meditation apps such as @insighttimer or @headspace to help you unwind.

Good luck I will have everything crossed for you all. 🤞🏻

Exam Season ✏️ SATs, GCSE’s and A-Level ex Exam Season ✏️

SATs, GCSE’s and A-Level examinations are officially here for many young people across the country.

It can be a time of excitement for the future, overwhelm and stress - there are so many feelings to be experienced which are all completely normal.

Many of my clients have asked me for tips on how to keep their children relaxed during this time, so I have popped together some ideas 💡 to help.

If you head to the link in my bio you can read the blog.

As a mum of an A-Level student our household is in full examination mode, so I completely understand how important this time is. Adding just a few self-care activities can make such a positive difference to how both you and they feel.

If your young people are sitting exams over the coming weeks good luck 🤞🏻 they will be fabulous ⭐️

Do you have young people taking exams this year?

Hi everyone, I hope you have had a lovely start to the new month.

I’m a few days late sharing my May self-care ideas 💡 as I’ve been unwell with an ear infection. I’ve been listening to my body and resting lots, and thankfully I am now raring to go once more.

May is such a beautiful month, there is so much new life bursting all around us and the sunshine ☀️ today was bliss.
