Tomorrow I begin a new journey in my business as I Tomorrow I begin a new journey in my business as I begin to train with @sallyreflex in Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD).

This approach developed by Sally Kay has been through extensive clinical practice, and has attracted national and international awards.

This method of reflexology offers a potentially sustainable solution for the management of lymphoedema and I am looking forward to offering this support in my treatment room.

I have lots to learn, but I am looking forward to this new challenge and sharing it with you.

If you would like to learn more about this new treatment once I have completed the training, you can subscribe to my newsletter at the link in the bio. 🙏🏻💚
Hello March 👋 Wasn’t the weather simply stun Hello March 👋

Wasn’t the weather simply stunning at the weekend!

It definitely made me feel more positive and full of hope that spring is on the way.

I cannot believe it’s nearly a year since we all began the first lockdown, but hopefully things are beginning to look more positive and we all have the warmer days to look forward to.

I sadly cannot be in the treatment room just yet, but I’m always here if anyone needs a chat and my shop is open if you need any natural skincare, supplements, essential oils and more. (Link in bio)

Stay safe, be kind to yourself and I hope March brings lots of sunshine your way.

Is anyone else missing their mum since lockdown be Is anyone else missing their mum since lockdown began?

I cannot wait to be able to spend time together again, and do all the things we enjoy as a family.

It’s felt like such a long time. 😢

As we won’t be able to spend Mother’s Day together due to the current restrictions, why not treat your mum to a thoughtful gift to show you are thinking of her.

Swipe the images to view some of the gifts available on my Neal’s Yard Remedies shop, there is something to suit every budget, they will help your mum to enjoy some pampering time and they are natural - so kind to the women you love and the planet 🌍

If you would like any recommendations please send a DM, as I understand how important our mums are.

And if you just fancy treating yourself for surviving this crazy time, just do it!

The link is in the bio to shop the range. 💚🙏🏻🌍🌹
Now we have all had time to process the news from Now we have all had time to process the news from Monday and the roadmap to ease lockdown, how are you feeling?

Chatting with some of you privately...it is bringing up a whole range of feelings.

At first feelings of whoop whoop, life is going back to normal ....let’s book a holiday! But then once things settled, feelings of overwhelm have begun to creep in.

For the introverts amongst us, many have enjoyed not having the pressures of socialising and for many they have enjoyed a slower pace of life.

For parents excitement that school is reopening, but also feelings of worry about the virus or getting used to new routines again.

When you think about easing back when each set of restrictions lifts....take your time, breathe and go one step at a time.

Don’t feel you have to do everything straight away.

Ease yourself in.

I personally cannot imagine going to a restaurant yet, even though I love to eat out....but I will do it when I’m ready.

Remember we’ve lived with restrictions for nearly a year, so it’s okay to go slow if you need to.
Hello everyone, how are you? Following the latest Hello everyone, how are you?

Following the latest briefing from @borisjohnsonuk, I now have a 'guideline' date to re-open on 12th April, at the earliest.

To re-open on this date will depend on the following four steps:

1. The vaccine deployment programme continuing successfully

2. Evidence that the vaccine is effective in reducing hospitalisation and deaths

3. Infection rates do not risk a surge of hospitalisations

4. Assessment of the changes in risks due to new variants.

My re-opening date will be confirmed by the government and my association @aorreflexology, one week before 12th April, once the above four steps have been analysed.

Therefore, I will not take bookings at this time, as the date is subject to change.

Once I hear more at the end of March, I will hopefully be in touch to book your relaxation time (fingers and toes crossed).

If you are not currently on my appointment waiting list, please contact me to add your name by sending a message to this page or via email at kelly@kellyhainsworth.com

Fingers crossed I will see you all in April.

How are you feeling about the latest briefing?

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, a day to cel Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, a day to celebrate and encourage kindness in all its forms.

We’ve seen so many incredible acts of kindness since the pandemic began from Sir Captain Tom Moore, to a neighbour helping elderly neighbours with their shopping.

Simple acts of kindness can make such an impact to the person receiving them...it can be the one thing that changes their day for the better.

I’m going to sprinkle some kindness now and surprise a few people 😍

What could you do today to make a difference?
During the past year I have been thinking a great During the past year I have been thinking a great deal about sustainable fashion and how I could begin to make a difference.

I have already swapped my beauty products and toiletries for natural alternatives, I use a milkman so have ditched all the plastic there, but my wardrobe is one area where I need to improve.

Since lockdown last year, I’ve not purchased many clothes...well I wasn’t going anywhere 😂 but it has given me the time to think about the choices I make when I do.

I then discovered local Leicestershire lady @lifeofbettybrown

Wow, she is such an amazing lady who really wants to make a difference.

So, I’ve treated myself to one of her hoodies, which is made from sustainable organic cotton.

It’s just one purchase, but a positive step forwards in helping our planet 🌍 🌳

I’ve got lots to work on in this area, but I’m ready for the challenge.

Have you made any swaps with your wardrobe to move away from fast fashion?
Tomorrow is Pancake Day 😍🥞 I love making pa Tomorrow is Pancake Day 😍🥞

I love making pancakes, and as it is half-term it’s a great activity everyone can enjoy with the family too.

Enjoy my easy mug recipe, that does not even require any scales!

I make this easy recipe with gluten-free flour, but you can use regular self-raising flour too.

Ingredients

1 mug of gluten-free self-raising flour – I use Dove’s Gluten-Free Flour @freeefoods

1 mug of organic milk – If you want to make the recipe dairy-free too, you could replace cows’ milk with almond or even coconut milk, which would also give it a sweeter taste,

1 organic free range egg,

Pinch of sea salt,

Organic Olive oil/coconut oil to use for cooking.

Method

Place one mug of milk and one mug of flour into a large mixing bowl and whisk with a fork until all the flour has blended and there are no lumps.

Crack the egg into the mixture and stir until all the egg is blended.

Sprinkle a pinch of salt into the mixture and stir.

Add a drop of olive oil or coconut oil to a frying pan and have the ring on a medium heat – I use a ladle to spoon the mixture into the pan.

Cook on one side and when the mixture is no longer runny on the top of the pancake, flip!

Heat the second side of the pancake for a few minutes and quickly lift it to check it has a nice golden colour.

Once it is ready place on a plate in a warm oven, to keep it warm whilst you make your other pancakes.

When you have used all of your mixture, you can serve and add your favourite toppings.

I love blueberries, kefir yoghurt from @thecollectiveuk and a drizzle of local honey from @the_bee_farmer

I had planned to post some pics....but the pancakes all disappeared!!! So I will post some pics in my Stories tomorrow.

If you try my easy recipe, tag me into your photographs, so I can see your creations.

What toppings are you going to add?
